Salary: Director of Finance and Logistics
Position Overview: Nutritional Frontiers is seeking an experienced Director of Finance and Logistics to join our leadership team and drive financial strategy, operations, inventory management and growth initiatives. This senior-level position reports to the CEO, Jamie Dorley, and requires a strategic finance and Logistics professional who combines deep accounting expertise with operational insight, particularly in inventory management and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetSuite and a proven track record in product-based companies. This role maybe structured as either on-site or remote. Remote employees are required to work in the Pittsburgh office one week a month to attend financial planning meetings and attend quarterly corporate meetings in person. This is nonnegotiable.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with company objectives Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes Provide strategic financial insights and analytics to the executive team Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization Drive financial analysis to support business decision-making and growth initiatives
Accounting and Financial Reporting: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures Serve as liaison to outside accounting firm
Inventory and Operations Management: Partner with the operations team member to optimize inventory management processes Develop and monitor key performance indicators for inventory turnover, carrying costs, and obsolescence Implement inventory valuation methodologies and cost accounting procedures Collaborate on supply chain finance and vendor management strategies Support operational efficiency initiatives through financial analysis and reporting
ERP and Systems Management: Lead NetSuite ERP system optimization and enhancement projects Ensure data integrity and system reliability across all financial modules Collaborate with executives on system integrations and process improvements Train and support team members on NetSuite functionality Evaluate and implement additional financial technologies as needed
Required Qualifications
Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required CPA certification strongly preferred
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience At least 5 years in a senior finance role (Finance Manager, Assistant Controller, or Director level) Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP financial package implementation and management Proven background in product-based companies with complex inventory management requirements Strong track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in NetSuite ERP system Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities Experience with inventory management systems and cost accounting Knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance requirements Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in nutritional supplements, health products, or related industries Background with FDA-regulated product companies Experience with multi-location or distribution operations Knowledge of e-commerce financial operations Previous experience with acquisitions or mergers
