POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Facilities willestablisha comprehensivesystem formonitoring and managing Stone Creekproperty, compliancerequirements,as well ascoordination of resources needed to successfullyoperate the physicalbuilding(s). This positionis responsible forthe implementationof best practicesand quality control of the hotel residences andall aspects ofmaintaining a safe building. The position will include oversight of external contractors as well as coordination with the Department of Housing Stability (HOST), City General Services/Real Estate department staff and other city partners.
This position works collaboratively with guests, SFC services staff,partner agencies, communityentities,and otherstakeholdersto ensure guestslive in a safe and clean setting that reflects the caring and peaceful environmentexpectedby our agency. This position must be committed to working toward the overarching goal of helping guestsobtain their individual goals leading tohousing, while balancing the need tomaintainasafe andfully functioning well-cared for facility.
The Director of Facilities must be skilled intheimplementation and management of data programs; compliance requirementsin non-congregate shelter, social services orsimilarsystems of monitoring;and ensuring compliance withprogram standards. TheDirector mustdemonstratetheability to negotiate successfully with the various partners in our service delivery.
Role and responsibilities:
Manage the Facilities team to improve safety, repair systems, and
maximize occupancy.
Implement operational improvements to restore vacant rooms to service.
Strengthen partnerships with City General Services to accelerate project completion
and resource allocation. Strong relationship-building skills with public and private partners, including city agencies (HOST, General Services), contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
Skill at navigating multiple perspectives and interests to achieve shared goals.
Maintain relationships with third-party vendors, track supply inventory, and support budgetary compliance.
Respond effectively to facility-related emergencies (floods, power outages, fire alarms, guest incidents, etc.) while maintaining guest safety and service continuity.
Oversight and tracking of room turns, maintenance tracking (SFC items and City), general cleanliness of the building, external maintenance, and cleanliness (snow removal, weed control, pet cleanup, etc.
EDUCATION (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
Bachelorsdegree inrelevant field,or equivalent experience in a related field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
Ability towork independently tomeet a timelineand follow a project through tocompletion.
Ability to communicateeffectivelywith written correspondence and verbalinteractions, including in high-pressure situations.
A willingness to manageandsupervisecontracts, contractors, or employees(as needed).
Conflict Mediation/Resolution Skillshighlyencouraged.
Meeting Facilitation Skillsand the ability to hear multiple sides of a situation to arrive at asolution.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salaryrange is up to $67,000 depending on qualifications.
