About AFLALO
AFLALO is a modern house defined by elegance, opulence, and bold femininity. Alongside our
Soho studio and upcoming flagship, we are expanding our footprint with a new atelier/workshop
and additional retail and office spaces. We are seeking a Director of Facilities & Construction to
oversee both personal and business properties, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on
budget, and to the highest standard of finish.
Role Summary
The Director of Facilities & Construction will manage all ongoing maintenance and capital
projects across AFLALO’s portfolio of properties: high-end residences, the Soho studio, retail
stores, and a new Long Island workshop. This individual will also oversee the upkeep and
service of private homes, ensuring they operate seamlessly and meet the highest standards of
comfort. The role requires excellence in project management, construction oversight, and
estate-level facilities operations delivering every project on time, on budget, and with meticulous
attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Oversight → Manage store buildouts, office renovations, factory
development, and major capital projects (façade, elevator upgrades,
infrastructure).
Estate & Property Maintenance → Ensure flawless operation and upkeep of
prestige properties, coordinating repairs, preventative maintenance, and
trusted service providers.
Facilities Management → Oversee daily operations for Soho studio, retail, and
warehouse spaces; enforce standards of order, discretion, and quality.
Vendor & Contractor Management → Source, negotiate, and supervise
architects, engineers, contractors, and household service providers; hold all
accountable for excellence.
Budget & Timeline Management → Own project budgets, track progress, and
deliver work within deadlines and cost parameters.
Quality Control → Uphold world-class standards in finishes, materials, and
maintenance.
Discretion & Confidentiality → Operate seamlessly across personal and
professional environments with sensitivity and absolute discretion.
Cross-Functional Support → Partner with Operations, Retail, and Leadership
to align construction and facilities with business and lifestyle needs.
Qualifications
7–10+ years in construction project management, facilities/estate management, or high-
end retail buildouts.
Proven record of delivering high-profile projects on time and on budget.
Experience managing prestige properties, with a strong understanding of maintenance
standards.
Familiarity with permitting, contractors, and trusted service networks.
Strong vendor relationships across construction, trades, and estate services.
Hands-on, detail-driven, and able to manage both large capital projects and daily
property needs.
Highly discreet, professional, and comfortable working across private and business
spheres.
