Our client, an established, global manufacturing company, is hiring a Senior Manager of External Reporting to support the formation of a new, standalone public entity. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to help establish and lead the external reporting function from the ground up. The business is poised for significant growth, with strong market positioning, an experienced leadership team, and a robust pipeline of strategic initiatives.
Highlights: Hybrid & flexible work schedule Work directly with an engaged, hands-on CFO Play a key role in a corporate transformation tied to a major spin-off $140K-$180K base + strong bonus Responsibilities: Own the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), including financial statements and footnote disclosures Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of external reporting with US GAAP and SEC regulations Coordinate with external auditors, legal, tax, and business units to gather and validate reporting inputs Monitor disclosure requirements and lead implementation of new reporting guidance Drive process improvements and efficiencies in SEC reporting and related systems Requirements: CPA required 8-15 years of relevant experience, with strong SEC reporting expertise Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional firm) preferred Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations Detail-oriented with excellent communication and project management skills Experience using OneStream or other consolidation/reporting systems a plus Manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but not required
