JOB SUMMARY
The Director has overall responsibility finance, staff, management team, training, development, patient and staff experience, procurement and adherence to all regulatory guidelines for the entity assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
One year of experience as a Team Leader with Supervisory responsibilities in a healthcare setting
Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (5 years of supervisory or manager experience in an Acute Care Healthcare setting) required
Licensure & Certifications:
DRIVER - Driver's License
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to speak, read and write the English language in an understandable manner.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Strong verbal communication and documentation skills.
Microsoft Office Suite of Applications and Financial Systems.
Documented skills in financial management.
Documented skills in information system applications.
Proven leadership and communication skills fostering positive employee relations and interdepartmental collaboration.
Possess an understanding of safety management, hazardous materials management, emergency preparedness management, and environmental management.
Possess an understanding of causes and methods of transmitting infection (e.g., contact, airborne, common vehicle, vector-borne).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Title of position(s) supervised:
EVS Supervisors, Team Leaders, Coordinators, and all Environmental Services staff.
