As the leader of the Engineering department, you'll ensure the hotel's facilities and equipment operate seamlessly with minimal downtime. Overseeing and actively participating in daily maintenance and preventative care, you'll drive efficiency, enhance guest and associate experiences, and continuously elevate engineering standards by sharing your expertise and innovative solutions.

What you will be doing:

Oversee engineers daily to ensure productivity, quality, and deadlines are met. Ensure facility maintenance and assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Perform regular walkthroughs and conduct inspections of public areas, back-of-house, guest rooms, and exteriors. Coordinate and oversee projects, manage spending, and ensure adherence to budget guidelines. Create weekly schedules and process payroll reports promptly. Lead and develop staff through conducting performance appraisals, providing coaching, and enforcing disciplinary actions as needed. Adhere to collective bargaining agreements and company policies ensuring compliance. Interact with guests, contractors, vendors, and corporate executives as needed. What we are looking for: Prior supervisory and/or management experience in a similar environment required. Must be able to read and interpret documents to include: Blueprints/Schematics, Procedural manuals, Budgets/Financial Statements, OSHA standards such as LockOut/TagOut, SDS, etc. Possess ability to troubleshoot, repair and/or maintain: Physical building to include all FF&E A/C and refrigeration equipment Electrical systems Mechanical equipment (i.e. motors, starters, pumps, fans, etc.) Plumbing and drains Pneumatic and electronic systems and controls Fire Alarm and Life Safety equipment

Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have computer proficiency. Analytical skills in order to be able to assess and identify problems and then implement solutions. Represent the company in a courteous and well-groomed manner. Must be able to use and understand hand and power tools. What's in it for you?
