Responsibilities • Develop and execute the strategic vision for engineering operations in alignment with organizational goals. • Lead and mentor a team of managers, engineers, and technical staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. • Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. • Collaborate with senior leadership to align engineering strategies with business needs and growth initiatives. • Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure optimal performance of equipment, systems, and infrastructure. • Promote energy efficiency and sustainability practices across all . • Manage Pharmaceutical vendor relationships and service contracts, ensuring performance standards and cost controls are met. • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, safety protocols, and business continuity strategies. • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting engineering. • Lead capital projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and environmental standards. • Represent the organization in interactions with regulatory agencies and industry associations. • Provide leadership during crisis situations to ensure the safety of personnel and protection of assets. • Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the and engineering teams. • Prepare and present operational reports, metrics, and strategic updates to Pharmaceutical executive leadership.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Pharmaceutical related field (Master’s preferred) 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, preferably in a Pharmaceutical industry Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
