As a Director of Electrical Engineering, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for engineering excellence, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Director of Electrical Engineering Location: Sterling, VA Pay Range: $185,000 - $220,000 What's the Job? Drive full-cycle electrical design and execution for hyperscale data center infrastructure. Collaborate with construction and operations teams to ensure cost-efficient and sustainable electrical systems. Oversee the entire electrical design lifecycle, from conceptualization to final commissioning. Serve as a technical subject matter expert in client engagements and proposal development. Manage coordination efforts with external consultants and contractors to maintain project quality. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the United States. A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in electrical design and construction. Advanced knowledge of data center electrical and HVAC systems. Proficiency with design tools including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM. What's in it for me?
