The starting pay range for this position is $130,000.00-$150,000.00/annual, and final pay rate will be determined based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity factors. This role drives the end-to-end delivery of innovative digital products and services, aligning technology with business goals. The Director partners with senior leaders to shape digital strategies and oversees a high-performing team of business analysts focused on delivering exceptional experiences and exceeding organizational objectives. Own the product lifecycle for Online Banking and Symitar enhancements. Define and manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and go-to-market strategies. Deliver incremental value through Agile methodologies. Translate business needs into user stories, features, and acceptance criteria. Lead product functional design based on user and technology insights. Business Requirements & Analysis Lead the business analysis discipline, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement. Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Maintain and prioritize sprint backlogs and product features. Ensure clarity and alignment of product backlog items with business goals. Track and report on product performance to guide future enhancements. Team & Stakeholder Leadership Build and lead a high-performing team of business analysts. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate across departments to align digital initiatives with strategic objectives. Provide coaching, training, and performance management for team members. Manage third-party vendor relationships to enhance digital member experiences. Ensure operational effectiveness, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Compliance & Organizational Alignment Ensure adherence to BSA and other regulatory requirements. Support organizational goals, values, and cost-control initiatives. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies. Perform other job duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Knowledge, Skill and Ability: Leadership & Team Development Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams to achieve high performance, exceptional service, and operational excellence. Strong people management skills with a focus on building teamwork, mentoring, and professional development. Responsible for all management functions including hiring, training, conducting monthly one-on-ones, performance management, conflict resolution, scheduling, cross-training and succession planning, timekeeping, etc. Product & Technical Expertise Proven success in delivering data-driven, customer-centric digital solutions. Deep understanding of credit union or banking systems and digital ecosystems. Experience launching software or services in collaboration with engineering teams, with proficiency in prototyping and iterative development. Solid grasp of Agile principles and frameworks. Strategic Communication & Collaboration Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and align cross-functional stakeholders. Strong balance of technical knowledge and business acumen to drive strategic initiatives. Execution & Operational Excellence Proactive self-starter with strong project management capabilities, delivering strategic initiatives on time and within budget. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Trusted to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Education or Formal Training: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of product management, product development, product ownership, or equivalent work experience, including minimum of 6 years of business analysis experience working in an agile/scrum environment, and minimum of 5 years of leadership/team management experience. Working Environment/Physical Activities High volume, fast-paced, dynamic office environment with some travel. Must be able to attend meetings and events outside of regular business hours. The position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets.
