Details Department:  CMC Foundation Schedule:  FT - Days Hospital:  Dell Children's Medical Center Location:  Austin, TX Dell Children’s Foundation is hiring a Director of Development to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors supporting the growth of Dell Children’s Medical Center. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on current endowment growth priorities.
As a Director of Development, this role focuses on major and principal gifts and is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of Dell Children’s donors from $100,000 - $10M and and beyond. This position will be responsible for attaining annual fundraising goals from major and principal gift donors. The Director in this role will focus on building the general endowment for Dell Children’s, the Endowment for Dell Children’s and providing impact to donors. Responsibilities Participate in fundraising campaigns, grant administration, major gift and/or charitable development programs. Assist with fundraising campaigns including budgets and timelines. Coordinate the creative process, file selection, production and mailing, and the acknowledgement process. Support strategy to train staff on marketing campaigns, soliciting donors, and defining levels of giving and benefits. Create printed materials and update databases and websites with campaign program information. Implement donor relations/recognition activities. Develop donor confidence and relationships through effective gift solicitation, processing and acknowledgement. Support the development and implementation of tracking strategies for solicitation efforts and perform analysis of data for results. Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Experience fundraising in a healthcare environment preferred. Service line fundraising experience preferred. 5+ years of major and principal gift fundraising experience preferred. Nonprofit fundraising experience preferred.
