Boys & Girls Clubs of Contra Costa (BGCCC) is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven leader to serve as our Director of Development & Community Engagement. This senior role will lead our fundraising, donor relations, and community engagement efforts, ensuring we have the resources to inspire and enable young people to reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including individual giving, corporate partnerships, and sponsorships.
  
• Build and steward relationships with donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.
  
• Oversee BGCCC’s signature fundraising events , the annual Gala and Golf Tournament, from planning to post-event stewardship.
  
• Serve as a public ambassador for BGCCC, representing the organization at community events, networking opportunities, and public meetings.
  
• Collaborate with the marketing team to craft compelling donor communications and campaigns.
  
• Track and report fundraising performance, ensuring transparency and goal alignment with leadership.
  

• 5+ years of proven success in fundraising, development, or donor relations — ideally in a nonprofit setting.
  
• Track record of securing major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and long-term donor relationships.
  
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
  
• Experience planning and executing high-profile fundraising events.
  
• Proficiency in donor database systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Passion for youth development and BGCCC’s mission.
