Responsibilities
Manage and amplify the College's brand identity, ensuring all creative elements deliver a cohesive, memorable, and compelling message across digital platforms, print materials, signage, and on-campus branding.
Design and executive visually stunning, data-driven campaigns that inspire action and spotlight the College's programs, successes, and community partnerships.
Guide the design, placement, and consistency of campus signage and environmental branding, ensuring alignment with the College's overall identity and values.
Lead the development of digital-first strategies to drive engagement, including interactive content, dynamic visuals, and innovative storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences.
Produce captivating visual narratives by leveraging high-quality photography, videography, and graphic design to bring the College's stories to life.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, faculty, and leadership to gather insights and align creative strategies with College-wide objectives and shared priorities.
Mentor and inspire a high-performing creative team, fostering an environment that encourages experimentation, growth, and innovation.
Transform how visual storytelling is used across platforms, ensuring consistent excellence in digital content for social media, web, and mobile.
Oversee the creation and implementation of event materials, community outreach graphics, and branded promotional materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure all physical and digital brand outputs align with accessibility and inclusivity standards.
Stay at the forefront of trends in design, branding, and digital storytelling, bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the College's marketing efforts. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
Five (5) years of experience in brand management, graphic design, photography, videography and copywriting, with a demonstrated ability to lead creative brand initiatives, produce digital campaigns, and craft compelling visual stories.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, and other design platforms.
Track record of delivering bold, imaginative content to diverse platforms, including social media, websites, and multimedia campaigns.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, actively listen to stakeholder needs, and translate shared input into cohesive, innovative designs.
Strong understanding of digital-first storytelling, typography, accessibility standards, and publication design.
Exceptional organizational skills, comfortable managing multiple creative projects with overlapping deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in brand management, graphic design, photography, videography, and copywriting, with a demonstrated ability to lead creative brand initiatives, produce digital campaigns, and craft compelling visual stories.
Leadership experience in higher education marketing, with a focus on visual storytelling across digital and physical mediums.
Proficiency in emerging technologies like new animation, VR/AR content creation, and interactive visual design.
A portfolio showcasing high-impact visual objects that reflect a deep understanding of brand alignment and audience engagement.
Familiarity with Savannah Technical College's mission, programs, and values is a plus.
Prior experience in an agency setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams and high-profile stakeholders to achieve ambitious creative goals. About Savannah Technical College Salary/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with education and work experience . Benefits include paid state holidays, annual and sick leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits package.
