Position Summary
The Director of Corporate Engagement, reporting to the SVP Investor Relations, will play a key role in securing Floridas future by proactively building and maintaining relationships with members, driving engagement, and leading retention strategies for the 1st year memberships. This position is instrumental in fostering member engagement, ensuring retention, and contributing to revenue growth through onboarding, renewal processes, and strategic member outreach.
Responsibilities
Membership Retention and Revenue Growth:
Meet or exceed dues retention goal of 85% by executing monthly goals through onboarding, engagement, and renewal processes for first year members of all levels.
Member Onboarding and Engagement:
Execute the onboarding and renewal standards for 1st year members.
Provide personalized engagement to new members within 30 days of onboarding, including welcome emails, calls, and personalized introductions to staff and existing members.
Develop and maintain continuous engagement plans for 1st year members, ensuring timely communication and invitations to events, and identify top issues for 1st year members.
Send targeted communications. For example, sending repurposed content to members to ensure high levels of participation in activities.
Leadership and Mentorship:
Train, lead, and mentor Investor Relations Part-Timer/Intern, who executes tasks like Certificates of Free Sale, CRM clean-up projects, and general administrative duties.
Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Vice President to align messaging and maximize the impact of member communications.
Membership Administration and Database Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records in the CRM, ensuring all engagement data is reflected and tracked correctly.
Assist Senior Director of Corporate Engagement with all member invoicing and track unpaid dues, collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate reporting and goal achievement.
Lead process and execution of drop requests
Support the sales and marketing teams with member data reports and the creation of targeted member communications.
Assist in the management and execution of monthly follow-up emails and retention outreach to ensure membership retention remains high.
Qualifications
Strong communication and relationship-building skills to effectively engage and retain members.
Proven experience in membership or customer relations roles, with a focus on retention and engagement.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience with association management and working closely with senior executives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (Personify or PROTECH experience preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role is a plus.
Knowledge of event planning and execution is beneficial.
