Our mid-cap manufacturing client has a new opening for a Director of Continuous Improvement (Operational Excellence/OpEx). This person can work out of one of three manufacturing plants and will be traveling to 6+ sites across the continental United States and Mexico up to 50% of the time.

The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have. This person will lead a team of OpEx Managers and help build and execute the OpEx strategy, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ultimately, getting the multi-site operations up and running and speaking the same OpEx/Continuous Improvement language. Identify inefficiencies in business processes. Data-driven analysis for performance optimization strategies and excellence Process improvement methodologies (Kaizen), conversion cost reduction, and overall performance optimization Qualifications: BA/BS Degree (Engineering a bonus) 10+ years leading manufacturing teams 5+ years of multisite/multidepartment experience deploying Continuous Improvement/OpEx tools Black Belt or Green Belt certified High-speed, high-volume, low-mix manufacturing environment (plastics/injection molding a bonus) Compensation/Benefits: $200-$225K+, 20-25% Bonus, Relo Package considered Medical, Dental, Vision, EAP, Life/AD&D, STD/LTD, HSA 401K with up to 4% match
