The Director of Construction oversees all operational aspects of construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals are met. This role collaborates with regional leadership to align field operations with the company’s strategic objectives and develops standards, processes, and training for project teams. Responsibilities: Collaborate with executive leadership and report to the Senior VP, IS Delivery Region. Enforce company policies, safety standards (OSHA, ICRA), and quality control procedures. Oversee project execution, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Drive operational efficiency through standardized processes and technology. Build and mentor high-performing field teams, including project managers and superintendents. Manage subcontractor relationships, including selection, contracts, and performance. Act as a primary client contact and represent the company at industry events. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. 15+ years managing large commercial projects; 5+ years in leadership roles. Proven leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; strategic and tactical thinker. Preferred: ENR Top 100 GC or Construction Management experience. Travel: 50–75% to job sites/offices. Physical Requirements: Climbing stairs, prolonged standing/sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs. Work in construction site or office environments.
