Director of Compliance

The Director of Compliance plays a critical leadership role in ensuring our operations meet all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards. This position will oversee the organization’s compliance program, drive risk mitigation strategies, and foster a culture of integrity across all departments. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or related field preferred Minimum 2 years of leadership or management experience in compliance or regulatory affairs Strong knowledge of behavioral health regulations, risk management, and corporate ethics
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain a compliance strategy aligned with organizational goals and risk tolerance
Oversee the creation and enforcement of policies to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and standards
Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and implement proactive measures to minimize exposure
Ensure organizational adherence to federal, state, and industry-specific regulatory requirements
Lead internal audits and implement systems to track and report compliance metrics and issues
Manage compliance training programs to keep staff informed of relevant legal and policy updates
Lead or support investigations into compliance violations and ensure timely resolution and documentation
Recommend and enforce fair, consistent disciplinary actions when needed
Serve as the primary contact for external audits and maintain productive relationships with regulators
Monitor industry best practices and regulatory changes to enhance the compliance framework
Provide regular updates to executive leadership on compliance risks, initiatives, and outcomes
Promote ethical standards across the organization, reinforcing adherence to Lightshare’s code of conduct
Represent Lightshare’s commitment to compliance in interactions with regulators, community partners, and other external stakeholders
