LifeSource Water Systems is a leader in providing whole-building water filtration solutions that promote healthier living by delivering clean, filtered water throughout commercial and residential properties. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Commercial Business Development to lead our commercial business division. This role will be pivotal in growing LifeSource Water’s footprint in the commercial space, establishing strong partnerships, and expanding our sales pipeline. We have a proven track record of success with over 100 commercial customers, including 400+ unit apartment buildings, luxury hotels, senior living facilities, country clubs, and food production facilities.
This role reports to the executive leadership team and will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to build our brand in the commercial market.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic business plan to expand LifeSource Water’s commercial sector presence and build brand recognition within targeted industries which include large multi-family properties, country clubs, food production facilities, spas, and more.
Pipeline Development: Identify and engage potential clients to grow the pipeline for the commercial business division.
Partnership Building: Cultivate relationships with MEP engineers, home builders, commercial plumbers, and property developers to integrate LifeSource Water’s filtration solutions into new and existing projects.
Regional Sales Collaboration: Partner with sales representatives across Southern California, Northern California, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Texas to align sales goals and support regional growth efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop materials and campaigns targeting the commercial market. Collaborate with executive leadership to align business development strategies with corporate objectives.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to adjust sales strategies and maximize growth potential.
Brand Advocacy: Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting LifeSource Water’s mission of healthier, sustainable water solutions across the commercial space.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales or business operations
Leadership: Proven track record in leading B2B sales ideally with experience in both pipeline development and team collaboration.
Relationship Management: Strong ability to manage and build pipeline and expand on existing relationships
Travel: Ability to travel across regions to support sales efforts and cultivate client relationships as needed.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
