Job Overview: The Director of Commercial Analytics for New Products and Innovation will play a crucial role in driving analytics for both pre-launch pipeline assets and new indications for our current market offerings. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive market analyses to determine size, growth, competitive landscapes, and unmet needs, enabling the development of compelling value propositions for new products. Create detailed forecasts for market performance, preparing for various future scenarios to foster adaptability. Lead the execution of data-driven advanced analytics strategies to enhance business performance and identify new growth opportunities. Tackle complex business challenges through integrated analytical approaches and data mining. Develop predictive models and algorithms using advanced methodologies, including machine learning, to optimize resource allocation and patient outcomes. Identify avenues to innovate with data analytics, develop advanced capabilities, and streamline processes. Be the designated expert in advanced analytics for the Commercial Analytics & Field Strategy team. Essential Skills and Abilities: Proven capacity to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. Strong communication skills to convey intricate data analyses in a relatable manner. Superior relationship-building skills. Expertise in advanced modeling techniques and their applications. Proficiency in programming languages like R, Python, SQL, SAS, SPSS, as well as analytical tools like Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI. Basic understanding of project management principles. Ability to collaborate effectively across various leadership levels and functions, including sales and marketing. Adaptability to fast-paced environments and shifting business priorities. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, Applied Statistics, or related fields; an advanced degree (MBA or MS) is preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on data analytics. A track record of facilitating data-driven decisions at senior leadership levels. Robust analytical background complemented by strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. The base salary range for this role is between $166,560 to $208,200. This compensation package includes potential salary increases, participation in a short incentive program, contributions to our 401(k) plan, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance. Our generous time-off policy ensures flexibility with paid time off, 11 paid holidays, a winter shutdown, and 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and annually thereafter. Total compensation will reflect the unique qualifications of the selected candidate, including experience and educational background.
