We are seeking a Director of Client Partnerships to lead direct brand and agency sales for a trusted digital media company with over 200 million monthly users across its suite of lifestyle, reference, and educational properties. This is a full-time, fully remote position operating on U.S. Eastern Time hours. The ideal candidate brings a hunter mentality and proven ad sales experience, particularly in newsletters, native media, or premium sponsorship inventory. U.S. work authorization is required. No visa sponsorship is available at this time.

Job Title: Director, Client Partnerships (Digital Media & Advertising)
Location : Remote (EST Hours, U.S.-based only)
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle — from outbound prospecting and proposal development to closing premium, non-programmatic brand partnerships
Drive new business development through strategic outreach to brands, agencies, and communications teams
Develop and pitch high-impact newsletter and digital media sponsorship solutions
Leverage market insights, campaign analytics, and client feedback to shape go-to-market strategy
Build long-term relationships with advertisers to unlock repeat deals and deepen engagement
Collaborate internally with editorial, marketing, and product teams to align messaging and offerings with client goals
Required Skills & Experience
5–7+ years of experience in digital media or ad tech sales, with a strong track record in newsletter or audience-first content businesses
Demonstrated success selling high-CPM brand sponsorships, flat-rate packages, and non-programmatic media deals
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a consultative approach to sales
Ability to work autonomously and manage a pipeline of mid-market and enterprise prospects
Skilled at interpreting performance metrics and adapting sales strategies accordingly
Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, digital-first environment
Compensation
Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000
On-Target Earnings: $200,000 – $250,000 total (includes performance-based incentives or commission) (Full Health Benefits)
Additional Information
Role is 100% remote, but candidates must be based in the U.S. and available to work Eastern Time (EST) business hours
Must be authorized to work in the United States — no visa sponsorship available
