Salary:
The Director of Child & Family Services will provide leadership and oversight for AZCFCs in-home family services program as well as our satellite location serving youth and families. This is a Director-level position (not executive leadership) responsible for program operations, supervision of program coordinators, fiscal management, quality assurance, and ensuring services align with agency values, contract requirements, and best practices in child and family behavioral health.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direct oversight to program coordinators, ensuring effective management of staff and services under their supervision.
- Manage operations at the satellite site, ensuring smooth coordination of youth and family behavioral health services.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility for assigned programs, including monitoring budgets, ensuring cost-effective service delivery, and supporting the agencys financial goals.
- Ensure services meet contract, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with coordinators, clinical supervisors, and program staff to maintain high standards of care, documentation, and compliance.
- Monitor program performance, track outcomes, and implement improvement strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with referral sources, probation, DCS, schools, and community stakeholders.
- Contribute to program growth, innovation, and alignment with the agencys mission.
Qualifications-MUST BE LICENSED IN AZ:
- Independent license in Arizona required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LISAC, or equivalent).
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in behavioral health, with at least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
- Knowledge of Arizonas AHCCCS behavioral health system, service delivery, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of child welfare, juvenile justice, and family systems.
- Experience overseeing coordinators, teams, and programs in a community or clinical setting.
- Experience with budgeting, fiscal oversight, or program financial management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on program support.
