The Director of Catering will oversee all aspects of our catering program, including strategy, planning, execution, and customer relationship management. This role requires a strong leader with a background in catering in a multi-unit company; preferably in fast casual concept, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Duties & Responsibilities: Partners with executive team to develop market and grow catering by identifying and pursuing new leads Implements catering strategies to drive sales and profitability Monitor and analyze catering performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth Build and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and vendors Involved with community engagement by representing the company at local events and networking functions to promote catering services Travel to restaurant locations and large-scale events as necessary to oversee catering operations, provide support, and ensure successful execution Manage the catering team, providing training, guidance, and support Collaborate with marketing to promote catering services through various channels Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations Handle budgeting and financial planning for the catering department
Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred 5+ years of experience in catering, event planning, or food service management (preferably in a fast casual concept) Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in catering software and Microsoft Office Suite Passion for food and customer service
Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000 per year + Bonus
