Empowered Hospitality provided pay range This range is provided by Empowered Hospitality. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

As our Business Development professional, you will play a key role in expanding Empowered Hospitality’s client base and market reach. This position is ideal for a driven, outgoing individual who thrives on building authentic relationships, identifying new opportunities, and representing our firm in a professional and approachable way.
You’ll collaborate closely with the client services team, marketing team, and company leadership to shape and execute our growth strategy. This includes developing and nurturing new client relationships, managing leads and opportunities within HubSpot, attending industry events, and identifying trends and opportunities in the market. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—ready to represent our brand externally while driving internal coordination and follow-through.

Role Responsibilities
Own the full business development cycle—from lead generation and prospecting to proposal creation and deal closure
Leverage HubSpot CRM to manage pipeline, track engagement, and report on performance metrics
Collaborate with our marketing firm to refine campaigns, content, and lead-gen strategies
Attend networking events, industry panels, trade shows, and client functions to expand our brand visibility and build relationships
Prepare and deliver tailored presentations to prospective clients in collaboration with our subject matter experts
Work alongside client services to ensure a smooth handoff of won pursuits and alignment on scope, goals, and relationship history
Research market trends, industry shifts, and competitor activity to inform business development strategy
Serve as a trusted representative of Empowered Hospitality in external communications and partnership conversations
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, sales collateral development, and process improvements
Participate in goal setting, pipeline forecasting, and strategic planning with senior leadership
Experience & Education
5–10+ years of experience in BD, sales, partnerships, or a related client-facing role
Experience in and deep familiarity with the hospitality and professional services sectors
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding growth goals
Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM platform required
Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident presenting to senior executives
Strong MS office skills, business communication, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field
The specific level for this role (coordinator, associate, consultant) will be determined based on experience, expertise, and desired scope of responsibility. More senior roles will carry increased responsibility to lead others and higher expectations of work quality.
