Job Summary
The Director of Business Development is primarily responsible for driving growth at Nurse Next Door. Passion for marketing, driving results and collaborating through Bold Kindness are focal points of this position. Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing on new sales & marketing ideas to drive census growth, and therefore revenue growth
  • Responsible for planning and executing the monthly sales and marketing plan
  • Building and nurturing top professional referral source list
  • Performing face to face meetings and timely communications every week with professional referrals and other lead sources
  • Drive business interest by engaging in relationships with community leaders and professional organizations to establish long term relationships that will translate into word of mouth and professional referrals
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with hospitals, physician offices, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and case managers.
  • Reviews Caregiver & Client experience through Net Promoter Score (NPS) feedback, to ensure a premium experience is achieved
  • Solicits and obtains positive Google Reviews as a marketing tool
  • Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to drive community awareness of services and solicit new business
  • Represent the agency at networking events and community outreach programs.
  • Track and report on sales metrics, referral trends, and competitive market analysis.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure high-quality patient onboarding and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare referral regulations and industry best practices.
  • Leads recruitment efforts for caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and other field staff to meet current and projected staffing needs.
  • Develop relationships with local training programs, vocational schools, and job boards to source talent.
  • Conduct screening interviews and coordinate hiring processes in collaboration with Nurse Next Doors HR policies and best practices..
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure new hires are prepared for field assignments.
  • Maintain a pool of qualified candidates to ensure timely staffing of new and existing clients.
  • Monitor caregiver satisfaction and retention and work with leadership to implement improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in covering caregiving shifts with clients as needed to ensure continuity of client care and mitigate cancellation of caregiving shifts.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrates care for others
  • Self-starter, comfortable working independently and in team environments
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of business development, sales, or recruitment experience in the healthcare industry (home health experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong professional network within the healthcare and caregiver talent community in the service area and surrounding areas.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting referral and/or hiring targets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
