Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below. Jackson Physician Search is seeking a Director of Business Development to join our Plano, TX team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for prospecting new clients, setting meetings, presenting JPS services virtually and in-person, and negotiating and closing contract agreements. You have the opportunity to build meaningful and lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients through ongoing support and serving as a point of contact. Essential Duties: Promote company services to existing and prospective accounts 35-50% regional travel within a multi-state territory in the Southwest Region Achieve monthly and annual search production goals Schedule meetings and present in-person to physician recruiting decision makers (C-Suite) Develop and maintain working relationships with current and prospective clients Negotiate and close sales contracts with a focus on new business Partner with recruiting teams to manage client relationships Make recommendations regarding services, and relay customer feedback Promote services at trade shows Requirements: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred 5+ years of outside solution sales experience required 3+ years of physician recruitment staffing sales preferred Proven track record of success in securing new business Strong prospecting, cold calling, face-to-face presentation, and closing skills required Confidence and professionalism to build relationships, overcome objections, and close business with C-Suite Executives Excellent verbal and written communication skills Time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Salesforce/CRM, & prospecting tools Virtual presentation skills and experience with video conferencing platforms (i.e. Teams) Consistent employment history with verifiable references Why You'll Love It Here: Named a Top 100 Best Place to Work in Healthcare annually since 2016, Jackson Physician Search fosters a supportive, high-performance culture that celebrates individual and team achievements.
