Title: Director of Business Development Reporting to: Vice President Location: Midwest *Candidates must live in the Midwest (IL, IN, IA, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, ND, OH, SD, WI)* Founded in 1970, our client provides CNC contract precision machining with high volume manufacturing along with robotic closed-loop machining cells. A family run business, our client is a leader in precision, low and medium volume production machining. Responsibilities Proactively seek out New Business with Automotive and Industrial Customers Expand and Renew relationships with old customers Solid understand of machining industry and know how to ask detailed questions that lead to accurate quotes Experience selling to large industrial and/or Tier 1/2 Automotive customers, comfortable with long sales process Must be based in Midwest (Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, etc.) and willing to visit headquarters as needed Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate in lean, family run business Ability to work in streamlined environment with very little red tape Work with the best in the industry, large Tier 1 companies seek out our expertise Competitive Base + Incentive program with uncapped commissions
