Our client, a mission-driven and quality-focused food service provider, is expanding in the Western region and seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth and build strategic partnerships in the education sector on the East Coast .

Director Of Business Development Responsibilities

Develop and execute winning sales strategies to achieve and exceed growth targets. Maintain a 3-year prospecting pipeline by leveraging CRM tools to track viable leads. Analyze RFPs/RFIs to ensure financial feasibility and business alignment. Craft compelling proposals and presentations for prospective clients. Conduct in-depth research to refine and enhance the sales process. Attend client meetings, build strong relationships, and drive long-term partnerships.

Director Of Business Development Requirements

5+ years of consultative sales experience, with at least 3 years in contract food service for Higher Education institutions. A passion for people-first customer service and relationship management. Strong financial acumen, including experience developing proformas and analyzing RFPs/RFIs. A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Self-motivated, creative problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
