We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating our unique selling propositions into effective solutions tailored to each customers needs. This position requires a strong understanding of the preclinical sales process, along with the ability to manage and exceed performance objectives in an assigned territory or with named accounts.

Essential Responsibilities Meet and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets. Expand business with existing clients and acquire new clients in partnership with the demand generation team. Build client commitment throughout the sales process. Participate in the contract review process as needed. Develop and manage comprehensive account development plans (Miller Heiman preferred) and track progress against milestones. Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers internally and externally. Maintain accurate CRM records in Hubspot for accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities. Collaborate with Finance to provide regular sales forecasts. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience 5+ years of experience selling solutions such as tumor modeling services, BioA, toxicology, PK/PD, DMPK, bioservices, or similar offerings to pharma or biotech in support of preclinical or animal trials. Bachelors degree required. Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills. Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships and achieving sales goals in dynamic environments. Knowledge of competitive landscape and ability to develop persuasive strategies. Strong analytical, presentation, and strategic thinking skills. High personal motivation, work ethic, and enthusiasm. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in the sciences. Prior experience with preclinical oncology studies or within a Contract Research Organization (CRO). Travel Requirements Up to 40% travel, including occasional international travel. Willingness to attend client meetings, trade shows, and workshops as needed. Ability to navigate airports, public transportation, and various work environments.
