We're looking for a Director of Business & People to join our Inspired Living Alpharetta senior living community. This role is perfect for someone with 3+ years of HR generalist/management experience who wants to be close to the action, supporting staff and leaders directly in a warm, community-focused environment.
What You'll Do As the Director of Business & People, you'll serve as the community's go-to HR partner. Under the guidance of the Executive Director, you'll manage all aspects of the employee experience, including:
Recruiting, onboarding, and welcoming new team members
Supporting payroll and benefits administration
Ensuring compliance with HR policies and state/federal regulations
Guiding leaders through employee relations matters
Maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS updates
Coordinating leaves of absence, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims
Helping to plan team recognition events and community activities
This role is hands-on and people-facing - you'll build relationships with staff, answer HR questions, and ensure our community is a great place to work.
What We're Looking For 3+ years of HR experience (generalist or community-level HR manager)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable balancing compliance, payroll, and employee support
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered setting
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or higher) is a plus, but not required
