Town of Queensbury Position Advertisement T he Town of Queensbury is seeking a DIRECTOR OF BUILDING & CODE ENFORCEMENT Overall Description : This position is in charge of the building and code enforcement department and is responsible for reviewing all plans and specifications submitted with applications for local building permits. The work involves the inspection of buildings both erected and under construction for compliance with the Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code and zoning. It also includes the management of Code Enforcement Officers and the Fire Marshall and Deputy Fire Marshal. This is a civil service provisional position with required completion of a future civil service exam.
