Overview Director of Brand Management at Kinder's Premium Quality Seasonings & Sauces. Lead portfolio development and drive sustainable growth across the Kinder’s portfolio. What You’ll Be Doing Business Planning and Strategy: Identify untapped consumer opportunities using research and performance data to uncover growth areas; develop short and long-term business plans with objectives, strategies, and performance metrics; act as internal expert on portfolio performance, trends, insights, and consumer behavior; optimize go-to-market strategy across assortment, pricing, and promotions. Product and Portfolio Management: Understand the product portfolio in context of consumer, category, customers, and company; build and direct the product roadmap (line extensions, new flavors, packs, packaging changes); manage portfolio P&L and drive top-line and bottom-line growth; provide ongoing business analysis and deliver monthly/quarterly reviews. Marketing Planning: Assess demand investment mix; guide brand marketing efforts (creative, content, digital, field experiences) from agency briefs through execution and KPI measurement; collaborate with Sales on demand-generating strategies. Cross-Functional Partnership: Align with senior management and functional leads; communicate portfolio performance and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. What You Bring To The TableEducation / Experience Bachelor\'s Degree required; MBA preferred. 10+ years in consumer brand management or product management; food/product innovation experience is a plus. Proven strategic thinker with portfolio management experience; ability to lead cross-functional teams; strong analytical and quantitative skills; knowledge of syndicated data sources (e.g., Circana, Numerator). Strong prioritization and organization skills; understanding of the product development process from ideation to commercialization to in-market activation. Location & Travel The position will be based out of our 40,000 sq. foot office in Walnut Creek, CA. We have a hybrid structure with 4 in-office days per week and 1 flexible day for in-office or remote work, depending on what makes sense for the role. The expected starting salary range is $190,000 - $215,000 per year. We may pay more or less based on location, education, qualifications, performance, and business needs.
