Job SummaryThe Director of Basketball Analytics supports both the Men's and Woman's Basketball programs by leveraging data to enhance team performance, game strategy, and recruiting efforts. This role plays a critical part in integrating advanced analytics into day-to-day basketball operations, bridging coaching insights with quantitative analysis to drive competitive advantage. The Director serves as a strategic partner to the coaching staffs, contributing to decision-making across scouting, player development, roster management, and recruitment. Responsibilities*Using data and video analysis, provide scouting materials on upcoming opponents in a timely mannerDevelop and track internal metrics for practices and games to assist with player development and team analysisIdentify targets using analytical insights and assist in the recruitment for high school and transfer portal playersProvide data-based insights to inform in-game strategyCreate and maintain internal tools for use by the coaching staff to aid in decision makingAssist the program's General Manager with respect to NIL salary management and player valuations Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designated to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
