Base pay range $175,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Job functions Preparation of Audit and Attest projects
Quality Control Review on Audit projects
Involvement or management of the firm’s Peer Review
Effective management of projects and engagement teams
Client facing communication - project management, project deliverables, and identifying client needs
Responsible for developing annual revenue targets for the department
Build referrals through clients and other sources to grow a revenue pipeline
Develop the business unit’s annual priority with clear objectives and quarterly milestones
Scope and price agreements to meet firm’s profitability targets
Conduct after-action reviews on projects
Build training and CPE plan for the workgroup
Attend industry conferences and stay abreast of industry changes and client needs
Oversee the department’s Lean Six review each year
Requirements CPA required
7-15+ years of experience in a CPA firm
3+ years of people management experience (including review of others’ work)
Experience auditing a variety of commercial businesses
Experience auditing nonprofits and/or employee benefit plans
Experience working with clients and teams in a fully remote setting
Strong comfort with technology and awareness of new technology for the department and industry
Proven success with business development
Desire for autonomy and strategic influence to grow the team and scale the department
Interest in professional and personal growth including possible participation in executive leadership and ownership
Nice to have Direct people management including performance evaluations and coaching
Business development/sales experience in driving revenue beyond Audit and Attest
Independent management of a firm’s Peer Review
Experience building processes to increase efficiency and adopt new technology
Experience auditing government contractors is a plus
