We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our operations, maintaining and improving the performance of all our construction equipment. You will be working with a wide variety of machinery, from conveyors and packaging equipment to motors and Allen Bradley PLC's. As such, a strong background in pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and electrical controls is essential. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's efficiency and success.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair malfunctions in complex electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyors, and packaging systems. * Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Allen Bradley PLC's and other electrical control systems. * Utilize your expertise in pneumatics to maintain and improve our equipment's performance. * Troubleshoot electrical issues, using your knowledge and experience to identify and fix problems quickly and efficiently. * Assist in the design and installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring that all systems meet our high standards of safety and performance. * Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize workflow and improve overall operational efficiency. * Document all maintenance and repair work, contributing to our ongoing effort to improve procedures and best practices. * Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, maintaining a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or in a similar role. * Extensive knowledge of and experience with pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and electrical controls. * Proven experience working with motors, conveyors, packaging equipment, and Allen Bradley PLC's. * Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues. * Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and team members. * A commitment to safety and efficiency, with a track record of maintaining a safe and productive work environment. * Ability to document all work performed and contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and best practices. * Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively. * Must be able to work independently and make decisions based on a thorough understanding of the necessary technical requirements.
