Join to apply for the Director of Aftersales Finance role at AutoNation The Director of Finance will be responsible for the consolidated analysis, planning, and steering of the AutoNation Aftersales business. This will include preparing detailed analyses on the financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in support of internal executive reviews, Board of Directors reporting, and external financial market reporting. The successful candidate will be a key business partner to the leadership teams of our Franchise Dealership Aftersales, AN Collision Center, AN Parts, Warranty, and Wholesale Parts business units. They will provide financial analysis support and provide feedback and guidance in the construction of new business cases, and the operational execution of existing business. Job Responsibilities Serve as the single threaded leader for all Dealership Aftersales and Non-Franchise topics. Prepare and distribute monthly forecasts of Aftersales business results including Dealership, Collision, and AutoNation Precision Parts. Review intra-month trends to identify risks and opportunities to the forecasted result. Lead ad hoc analyses as needed. Provide bridging analyses to compare time periods, deviation from forecasts, etc. at the national, market brand, and dealer level. Evaluate new business case opportunities within traditional dealership operations as well as non-franchised automotive service and parts topics. Lead annual budgeting process and serve as primary point of coordination between business planning and centralized FP&A teams Prepare and present financial results, business case analysis, and other executive team review topics. Lead and mentor junior resources in developing subject matter expertise and skills and techniques for insightful financial analysis. Qualifications 10-15 Years of Experience of progressive responsibility in corporate finance. Undergraduate degree in Business or other quantitative discipline. Proven ability to design and articulate analytical frameworks to describe and recommend actions on complex topics. Excellent analytical toolkit including Excel, Data Visualization (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.), etc. Ability to influence without control and compel action. Aggressive ownership of opportunities. Preferred Qualifications MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
