Director of Affiliate Marketing

This position reports to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and works closely with individuals across the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Affiliate Strategy: Design and lead the affiliate marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and broader digital marketing goals. Recruit and Manage Affiliate Partners: Identify, onboard, and nurture high-performing affiliates, influencers, and strategic partners who align with the brand's values and audience, focusing on growth for DTC and Amazon. Optimize Affiliate Campaign Performance: Track, analyze, and optimize affiliate performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, AOV, ROI) through platforms like Levanta, Wayward, CJ.com, or Everflow, making data-driven recommendations to improve outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across sales, marketing, product, creative, and e-commerce to ensure consistent messaging, timely promotions, and coordinated campaign execution. Ensure Compliance and Brand Integrity: Monitor affiliate activities to ensure compliance with FTC guidelines and brand standards, providing ongoing training and support to maintain a high-quality partner network. Negotiate Commission Structures and Incentives: Establish and adjust commission tiers, bonus structures, and exclusive offers to motivate partners and improve acquisition efficiency. Report and Communicate Program Results: Regularly prepare and present performance reports to leadership, highlighting key wins, areas of improvement, and future growth opportunities. Oversee Agency and Vendor Performance: Manage relationships with external affiliate marketing agencies and technology vendors, holding them accountable for performance metrics, ensuring alignment with program goals, and optimizing their contributions through regular performance reviews and strategic collaboration. Stay Current on Industry Trends: Continuously research market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging affiliate technologies to keep the program innovative and competitive. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Outcome-oriented focused on delivering results Creative, collaborative, and resourceful Strong interpersonal and communication skills Energetic, enthusiastic team player Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and project management skills Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment Strong understanding and experience with affiliate marketplace and ecosystem (Growth Partners, Content Partners, Influencer Partners) Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 5 to 7 years of experience in affiliate marketing or partner management roles Experience working with affiliate networks and managing influencer partnerships. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proven track record of growing affiliate programs. Work Location This is a hybrid position based in Austin, TX as preferred location. U.S. required location. Special Requirements Travel to support events and other activities, up to 25% Must possess a current, valid state-issues driver's license Benefits
