Gulf Coast Treatment Center is searching for a Director of Admissions/Intake! The Director of Intake is responsible for day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the admissions function and is a member of the facility’s leadership team, working with the nursing, marketing, business and clinical personnel. Qualifications
Registered Nurse, Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field. Licensure as a Nurse or Social Worker required (LPC, LCSW, etc) Three or more years experience in Intake Assessment activities within a psychiatric facility with supervisory experience. Knowledge of hospital admissions functions, crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
