Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Works to maximize center census; design, implement, and manage an effective streamlined process for center to accept admissions on a 24 hour, 7 days a week basis and ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
Conducts admissions counseling and tours with potential residents, families, and/or responsible parties.
Screens and promptly accepts potential admissions to the facility for the following: level of care appropriateness, financial payment source, length of stay (short or long-term care).  Contacts referral source promptly regarding acceptance/denial of the referral.
Tracks and trends business.  Maintains logs to identify and follow up on lost business and identify opportunity to expand services to meet the need of the customer/referral source.
Ability to develop a strong understanding of the market and potential business.  Is able to maintain positive relationships with referral sources and offers a solution based approach to referrals.
Education: Advanced degree preferred.  Can be waived in lieu of appropriate experience
Work Experience:  One year of sales or admissions experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
