Strong knowledge of AP best practices, process controls, and ERP systems About the Role A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Corporate Director of Accounts Payable to oversee AP operations across its multi-site long-term care network. Based at the corporate headquarters in Valley Stream, NY, this high-impact leadership role will ensure financial efficiency, vendor management, and process improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage full-cycle accounts payable operations across multiple facilities
Supervise, mentor, and develop the AP team to drive accountability and performance
Review and reconcile vendor accounts, resolving discrepancies quickly and accurately
Oversee adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
Act as the main point of contact for vendor relations and issue resolution
Evaluate and enhance AP workflows, systems, and process automation
Manage AP-related month-end close activities, accruals, and GL reconciliations
Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Operations on strategic initiatives
Support audits, compliance, and continuous improvement projects Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $100,000 – $200,000 (commensurate with experience)
