About the Director of Accounting opportunity: Well established manufacturing company with over 25 years in business. Responsibilities of the Director of Accounting: Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial statements with GAAP and company policies. Manage month-end and year-end close processes. Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies. Lead and mentor the accounting team to improve efficiency and performance.
Qualifications of the Director of Accounting: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
