The Director, National Accounts – Home Warranty is a strategic leader responsible for driving performance across indirect sales channels and optimizing program execution for large-scale Home Warranty accounts. This role requires deep industry expertise, a proven track-record of leading high-performing sales teams, and the ability to influence client outcomes through data-driven insights and operational excellence. The Director will oversee cross-functional initiatives, manage key client relationships, and ensure alignment with Assurant’s growth and customer experience goals. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? Develop and execute Performance Optimization strategies tailored to Home Warranty programs Influence and hold key client senior sales leadership relationships including, but not limited to client area vice presidents, senior vice presidents and franchise owners to promote Performance Optimization Represent Performance Optimization in client business reviews and strategic planning Work directly with and oversee initiatives with client teams including corporate program managers, marketing, directors, and vice presidents to promote Performance Optimization Analyze performance and forecast trends to inform strategic decisions Deliver internal and external reporting on KPIs, revenue, and customer metrics Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build leadership bench strength Effectively lead a team of Regional Account Managers to drive growth and customer experience expectations Oversee administrative and operational tasks related to account management Stay up to date on industry trends, insights and market conditions Support client conferences and networking/sponsorship opportunities within the Home Warranty space Operational responsibility for accounts within the Home Warranty space Manage team resources and support budget planning Implement programs to motivate Assurant Performance Optimization employees Support all Assurant initiatives as outlined by the AVP, Performance Optimization and VP, Global Sales Optimization What are the requirements needed for this position? Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience 10+ years of experience in the Home Warranty or Real Estate industry 5+ years of people leadership experience, preferably in a sales or client-facing capacity Proven success in leading indirect sales teams and driving performance in addition to managing large-scale client relationships in Home Warranty or Real Estate industry Sales forecasting, reporting, and optimization Strong analytical and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Position is primarily remote with 50%–75% travel required for client meetings, team leadership, and strategic planning sessions What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field Prior leadership experience within Home Warranty or real estate industry Real estate industry experience with senior level relationships, former franchise owner, brokerage support, branch manager and/or HW experience. Familiarity with Salesforce and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite #LI-remote #AssurantProudKB Pay Range: $119,600.00 - $199,800.00 Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
