CME Associates, a leading engineering consulting firm in Parlin, NJ, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Director of MEP Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems for various projects. This position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for commercial, industrial, and municipal projects. Oversee the mechanical aspects of projects, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget constraints, and deadlines. Conduct simulations, stress analyses, and calculations to ensure mechanical systems meet safety and performance standards. Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and OSHA. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, civil engineers, and architects, to ensure seamless project execution. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in consulting or construction. Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other mechanical design software. PE certification is required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
