Director of Managed Care Position Summary
The Director of Managed Care and the ACO plans, directs, and implements all aspects of TidalHealth's payor strategy and contracting, develops systems for improved financial performance and patient care in the context of payor contractual relationships, and directs development and maintenance of programs, procedures, and processes which assure cost effective, quality services to patients and other customers who come to TidalHealth as a result of its managed care contractual relationships. This position also is responsible for payor credentialing for the organization.
Director of Managed Care Position Requirements
Master's Degree in Business or Health Administration.
Seven (7) plus years of progressive experience in a managed care setting, contract negotiations, and provider network development
Director of Managed Care Schedule
Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday.
May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Director of Managed Care Benefits
At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
