Reporting to and working with the Vice President, Employee Experience and Engagement (Human Resources), the Labor Relations Director at ArtCenter College of Design will work with the VP to lead, facilitate and manage the College’s labor relations program. Essential Functions Labor Administration — 60%: Respond to information requests, maintain a labor activity portal, lead ACFF-ACCD Committee meetings, counsel and guide leadership on labor relations matters, and provide ongoing interpretation of the collective bargaining agreement. Contract Bargaining Administration — 30%: Serve as chief negotiator, develop bargaining strategies, and collaborate with the union’s chief negotiator. Other Duties as Assigned — 10%: Maintain memberships in professional organizations, serve on committees, research trends and best practices, and maintain bargaining records and files. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or other related fields. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in labor relations, business affairs, or legal affairs department. Proven analytical abilities and project management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to enforce and implement policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications Juris Doctor in employment law or another related field.
