Employment type: Full-Time Job Description Req#: 3960080 As head of the Justice, Care, and Opportunities Department (JCOD), the Director manages and coordinates efforts to advance alternatives to arrest, incarceration, and nonclinical reentry services in Los Angeles County. This visionary leader is responsible for developing and overseeing the creation of a new department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, policy development, and achieving goals aligned with the needs of the Board of Supervisors. This role involves overseeing and providing high-level leadership for a team focused on justice reform, implementing recommendations from commissions and community workgroups, and delivering trauma-informed, equity-centric services.
