We are seeking a Director, Inventory & Logistics Management, to establish and lead a global function that ensures material availability, asset visibility, and reliable physical movement of goods across our enterprise. As part of the Global Supply Chain Management team, the Director oversees the design and execution of inventory management and logistics strategies across the United States, Latin America, Africa, and Europe to support the company’s business needs.
The Director will build a globally coordinated capability that manages inventory planning, warehousing, transportation, customs, and reverse logistics. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders across Field Operations, Development & Construction, Finance, Sourcing, IT teams, and with regional leaders to support business continuity, capital efficiency, and operational excellence.
What You Can Offer Us
Lead the design and implementation of a global inventory and logistics management strategy aligned to business growth, cost effectiveness, and service reliability.
Develop and oversee demand and supply planning processes in collaboration with Regional Operations, Sourcing, and Finance teams to ensure the right materials are available in the right place at the right time.
Drive the establishment of inventory strategies that balance availability, risk, and working capital efficiencies across critical categories and geographies.
Implement governance and control processes for inventory accuracy, tracking, audits, and cycle counting to maintain data integrity and visibility.
Lead the excess and obsolete (“E&O”) inventory management program, identifying root causes, driving process improvements, and managing disposition strategies.
Oversee warehousing operations across regions, ensuring efficient inbound receipt, secure storage, accurate picking and packing, and timely shipment of materials.
Manage global transportation processes including inbound, outbound, and inter-regional logistics, optimizing delivery costs, time, and service level performance.
Direct customs and clearance compliance activities to ensure timely and lawful movement of goods across borders while minimizing delays and duties.
Ensure that order fulfillment processes, including emergency shipments, scheduled delivery windows, and project-driven requirements, support business needs.
Build and manage reverse logistics capabilities for returns, asset recovery, and recycling in support of sustainability and capital recovery goals.
Establish performance metrics and reporting to monitor logistics providers’ performances, delivery timelines, inventory turns, and related key performance indicators.
Partner with internal teams (e.g., Sourcing, Procurement Operations, Finance, and BE) to ensure logistics processes are fully integrated with upstream and downstream systems.
Champion the use of systems and digital tools to enhance visibility, forecasting, and operational controls across the supply chain.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team capable of scaling operations and delivering best-in-class service to business partners worldwide.
