Pfizer is seeking a Director of Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) that will lead strategic thought partnership to the Patient Solutions & Engagement team within Specialty Care (SC). This role will focus on characterizing and quantifying the post-Rx patient journey, optimizing the use of data and analytics, and crafting actionable solutions where gaps are identified to optimize patient access. Reporting to the Patient Solutions IIS Team Lead, this role will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify barriers and recommend high-impact improvements to improve patient access.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient-based analytics, insights, and strategy, combined with a deep understanding of HUB and specialty pharmacy (SP) dynamics. They will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex challenges while influencing diverse teams.
Patient Journey Analytics & Funnel Optimization
Develop dashboard frameworks to consistently track and evaluate post-Rx patient journey performance across specialty brands, integrating HUB, SP, and other data sources.
Identify and quantify patient drop off points along the journey and develop targeted recommendations to address key barriers.
Arm the team with tools to better analyze and diagnose funnel inefficiencies, using data to guide decisions and prioritize efforts
Collaboration Across Teams
Work side by side with patient access and reimbursement teams to interpret data, assess gaps, and refine strategies, including but not limited to SC Patient Solutions, Patient Services, Specialty Pharmacy Analytics (SAS) and Access Marketing.
Facilitate collaboration between GCA, SAS, and patient solutions teams to align on data sources and methodologies
Lead brand specific experience optimization projects in close collaboration with brand marketing, patient solutions and IIS brand strategy leads.
Strategic Insights & Reporting
Provide actionable recommendations to the Patient Support Lead and broader specialty care teams, including executive leadership, informed by robust analytics and insights
Ensure alignment between patient support strategies and patient goals.
Integrate post-Rx patient journey insights and recommendations with strategic Quarterly Business Reviews, connecting patient journey dynamics with patient goals
Change Leadership
Lead initiatives to define what “great” looks like for patient support insight generation and analytics
Act as a thought leader to shape future frameworks and capabilities in HUB/SP data integration and performance measurement
Basic Qualification
BA/BS in Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering or a related field
8+ years in consulting, finance, market analytics, or market access roles
Defined involvement in helping frame, design & execute solutions for challenging business situations
Demonstrated self-starter with ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects
Preferred Qualifications
MS or MBA preferred
Experience working with HUB/SP data and/or knowledge of HUB/SP patient flows and dynamics
Experience developing dashboard frameworks for patient solutions or commercial teams
Team-orientation and collaborative approach; outstanding listening skills and the ability to manage through influence
Exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity, a creative visionary who can drive innovation
Sophisticated executive demeanor, comfortable functioning at the highest levels of organizations; excellent presentation skills, including strong verbal and writing capabilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to influence and drive change at all levels in an organization
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156,600.00 to $261,000.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
