We’re partnering with a manufacturing client in Greensboro, NC to find an experienced and strategic Director of Information Technology. This is a direct-hire, on-site leadership role offering the opportunity to drive innovation, lead a high-performing team, and align technology with core business operations. You’ll guide the company’s technology vision and strategy, while overseeing infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and enterprise-wide IT operations. Key Areas of Impact: Technology Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring scalable and secure systems across all business units. Operational Systems Integration: Lead efforts to integrate technology into day-to-day operations, supporting both automated processes and real-time data access. Infrastructure Oversight: Manage on-site and remote infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Own the security posture of the organization, with robust policies around data protection and disaster recovery. Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a cross-functional IT team. Build collaboration across departments and foster a proactive, solution-oriented culture. Vendor & Budget Management: Manage IT vendors, contracts, and budgets with a focus on cost-effectiveness and performance. Innovation & Growth: Identify emerging technologies and lead digital transformation initiatives that streamline operations and improve efficiency. Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in IT, including leadership rolesBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferredHands-on experience with infrastructure, applications, cloud services, and cybersecurityStrong background in application development and systems integrationExperience supporting operational or production environments with real-time technology needsProven experience managing budgets and leading high-performing teamsIndustry experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail is preferred
