Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

We're seeking a full time Director, Human Resources to join our corporate team onsite at our Kansas City, MO corporate office, located in the River Market. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading strategic HR initiatives, ensuring compliance, optimizing HR systems, and handling talent acquisition, development, and retention to drive organizational success.
As the HR Director at Katie's Way, you'll be responsible for these essential functions:

Manage all recruitment efforts, including sourcing, posting jobs, recruitment marketing, interviewing, and hiring
Develop strategic hiring practices and maintain talent pipelines.
Collaborates with KW Academy Director to ensure complaint training and development efforts.
Identify skill gaps and create development plans in collaboration with the corporate and clinic management teams
Manage all employee relations including coaching managers and employees, providing guidance in the progressive discipline process, and conducting/handling investigations
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Conduct internal audits and updates HR policies.
Collaborate with the CFO and Payroll Manager to ensure accurate and compliant payroll.
Collaborate with the CFO and executive to manage benefits programs to enhance employee satisfaction.
Collaborate with IT and corporate management to optimize HR systems for operational efficiency.
Utilize HR analytics to track and report key HR metrics.
Ensure accurate and timely onboarding or all new hires, including collaboration with Credentialing to ensure accurate start dates
Ensure seamless integration and cultural alignment through engagement efforts.
Develop a Talent Management Program to support growth, succession planning, and retention.
Implement performance management systems aligned with company goals.
Act as a strategic partner to the executive team.
Promote a positive organizational culture and support DEI initiatives.
Documents concisely, precisely, and accurately on all records or documents as indicated by policy.
Maintains confidentiality of all employees, patients, clients, and company information
Participates in department and company meetings, as well as professional development activities.
Understands HIPAA regulations and maintains confidentiality of all employee, company, patient, and/or vendor information.
Has read and understands the company’s HIPAA Privacy Policy and complies with all regulatory requirements including HIPAA, OSHAA, Employee Handbook, and all other company policies and procedures.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or another similar position and a minimum of 7 years human resources management experience. Other key qualifications include:
Demonstrates a proven record in setting and meeting company and HR objectives.
Demonstrates proficient advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local employment, payroll, and other associated laws and regulations.
Demonstrates proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
Possesses experience in and advanced proficiency in research and analytical skills.
Demonstrate proficiency with development and delivery of internal group presentations.
Previous experience with a proven record in successful vendor negotiation
Demonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a proven history in effective customer and inter-company communication.
Candidates with a Master's Degree in Human Resources, experience working in a public traded healthcare company, and/or a SHRM-CP are preferred.
