About The Role We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director, Human Resources Business Partner. This role will act as a consultant to leadership on human resource-related issues, driving HR initiatives aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, people-oriented, and skilled in balancing employee needs with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives. Provide HR guidance on topics such as organizational development, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and retention. Analyze HR metrics and use data to inform people strategies. Manage and resolve employee relations issues through effective communication and problem-solving. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Collaborate with centers of excellence (e.g., talent acquisition, learning & development, compensation) to support business units. Support change management initiatives and HR projects.
Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus). 7+ years of progressive HR experience; at least 3 years’ experience in an industrial services business, ideally energy services. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and consultative skills. Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Key Nice-To-Haves PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification. Experience supporting distributed or remote teams.
