Director, Global Sales

The Director, Global Group Sales will focus on curating preferred partnerships within the meeting and events third party sourcing community, moving market share from our competitors, and uncovering new business opportunities for EOS Hospitality's unique portfolio of hotels & resorts. Through effective relationship building and account management, this position will deliver the highest levels of guest service and will ensure ongoing client satisfaction. The Director, Global Group Sales will be a creative, energetic, and knowledgeable professional, and be fundamental to the ongoing success of EOS Hospitality as the industry's best-in-class.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales revenue targets through proactive client engagement, prospecting, strategic sales initiatives, tradeshow participation, and roadshow management.
  • Manage a dedicated sales territory, meeting or surpassing individual and organizational goals and objectives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for company sales targets.
  • Support the VP of Sales in strategic initiatives across the EOS Hospitality Group Sales organization, helping to ensure operational efficiency, effective time management, and cost control.
  • Inspire and motivate internal team members and field sales professionals to achieve performance goals, effectively managing assigned account portfolios and driving group conversion.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with third-party planners and sourcing partners to promote the company portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with CVENT and Delphi Standards & Procedures
  • Collaborate closely with sales team members to coordinate sales efforts and prevent duplication.
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships through sales calls, client entertainment, FAM trips, trade show attendance, and other engagement activities.
  • Lead and coordinate participation in industry tradeshows and sales missions on behalf of the company and its properties.
  • Develop connections within the meetings and events community to expand the customer base and generate new sales opportunities.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct sales calls, prospecting and market analyses to secure and close new business.
  • Handle the operational aspects of confirmed business, including generating proposals, drafting contracts, and managing client communication.
  • Stay informed of market trends, competitor strategies, and economic shifts to optimize sales strategy and profitability.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor by understanding client needs and offering tailored business solutions.
  • Champion the company's service and relationship strategy by providing excellent customer service to new and existing clients.
  • Represent the company positively and professionally in all interactions.
  • Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to implement service improvements and product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to support promotional initiatives and drive brand awareness.
  • Submit timely and detailed weekly activity reports.
  • Accurately log all activities, contacts, and communications in Delphi FDC.
  • Initiate and execute group sales agreements in line with property and company standards.
  • Prepare and manage individual and group resumes to ensure smooth communication of key event details across departments, enhancing the guest experience.
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to the staff.
  • Follow attendance guidelines and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Required qualifications include:

  • 5 years minimum sales experience in the luxury hospitality market is preferred.
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major preferred
  • Highly motivated individual who can work independently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discretely and in the proper manner.
  • Self-starter, and possess excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of successful sales history

The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $190,000
